- The information contained is for non-hazardous network freight only. If you require any full load, part load or hazardous undertaken work between Christmas and New Year, please contact our Haulage Planning Team directly at haulage@angliafreight.co.uk.
- The following arrangements apply:

- Any freight collected between the Christmas and New Year will be delivered as booked, please note that none of the 3 Bank Holidays counts as a transit day for any shipment.
- We strongly recommend checking that premises are open and able to accept freight for deliveries during this period. If the premises are closed there will be a charge for re-delivery.
- Any freight collected before Christmas that should not be delivered until the 2nd January must be booked as a specific day delivery and state this in the delivery instructions. For this time period only, we will only charge economy rates for specific day bookings.
- On Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th December 2025 the following adjustments will be made:
- Cut off for booking freight moved forward to 1000hrs.
- Freight must be available for collection from 1100hrs.
- The Hazchem Network will be closed between Christmas and New Year with the last trunking day Tuesday 23rd December 2025. Any hazardous freight requirements must be agreed in writing prior to booking. All such consignments will be rated and charged independently from any previously issued tariffs and pricing as they will be shipped on dedicated vehicles.
- Some delivery areas, e.g. the Highlands and Islands or the Republic and Northern Ireland that require ferry crossings to make delivery will be affected during the festive period. Please contact our Sales Team if you require distribution to these areas.
- Anglia Freight’s warehouse will be closed on Tuesday 24th December and will reopen to take orders at 0900hrs Monday 5th January 2026. During these dates orders can be placed for picking for despatch on Monday 5th January.
If you require any non hazardous orders to be delivered between these dates then they will require picking prior to closing and therefore will have to be added to the booking portal before 1200hrs Tuesday 23rd December 2025.
