Pete Holden

Pete joined Anglia Freight in 2006 and leads on Operations, Health & Safety, and depot management across both the Palletline and Hazchem networks.

After completing a Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Pete joined the family business. He progressed through a wide range of roles — from Shift Supervisor and Freight Forwarding Manager to Sales Director and Operations Director. This hands-on experience underpins his practical, solutions-led approach to leadership.

Pete has played a key role in guiding the business through its second-generation transition, while also driving innovation through the implementation of AI-led systems that have improved efficiency, reduced costs and supported sustainable growth. Since 2015, he has also contributed to the wider industry as a Non-Executive Director at Palletline Ltd.

Away from work, Pete enjoys spending time with his young family, maintaining and riding bikes, and competing at the highest level as a World Champion in Long Range Target Rifle Shooting.
