Combined Fuel Surcharge and Driver Retention Surcharge will be 12.3% from 11th May 2026
This is made up of: Fuel Surcharge: 12.3% Driver retention surcharge :0%
The mechanism for this is explained below:
Base Price 1.03 pence per litre
Percentage rate is activated when our fuel purchase price goes above 1.03 pence per litre, at a rate of 0.3% per pence.
For example:
Fuel Price 1.23 = Fuel Surcharge of 6%
Fuel Price 1.43 = Fuel Surcharge of 12%
No decision to implement this surcharge is taken lightly, as we realise the impact to you and your customers, we assure you it is only done to protect service continuity into the future.
Fuel is one of our biggest overheads over which we have no direct control. We believe that by reviewing fortnightly in light of prices paid is the fairest way of applying this surcharge. Thank you for your ongoing custom.
