Warehousing & Storage

With 110,000 sq ft of onsite warehousing - all owned and controlled by Anglia Freight - we have the resources to store, manage and handle your goods and the capacity to expand as and when your requirements dictate. With warehouses based in Eye on the Norfolk/Suffolk border, we are ideally situated near Felixstowe Port for all of your Felixstowe storage needs.

• AF software provided by Clydebuilt Ltd using LocateIT® - a system tried and tested by us over a number of years
• All incoming pallets are barcoded and RF scanned. The information stored on the ‘IT footprint’ includes customer identity, description of goods, BBD (Best Before Date) and batch code (but can include any required information). The pallets are then scanned into barcoded racking locations
• When working from picking lists, goods can be picked using either BBD or Batch Codes as the basic parameter
• Order picking with RF scanners optimises picking accuracy
• LocateIT® can be fully integrated with customer’s management system allowing orders to be sent directly from customer, or when orders are placed with them online
• LocateIT® can send confirmations back to customers to confirm:
  • Receipt of goods
  • Completion of order pick
  • Despatch of goods
• Stock traceability and accountability are key features of the system
• Both Anglia Freight sites, including the Felixstowe storgae site, have the added benefit of round the clock CCTV coverage
• Member of the UKWA - United Kingdom Warehousing Association - the UK’s only trade association dedicated to serving the vitally important warehousing and logistics sector
• Customers can have access to their goods information via the web
